"Vladimir Kalikhman opened EURO-TECH over 20 years in 1997. Vladimir had always been interested in vehicles and loved working on cars, and he earned his degree in mechanical engineering. But when he moved to the United States from Ukraine, he spoke zero English and basically started from zero with a small repair shop in Baltimore City. Through hard work and perseverance, that shop has grown to a 40,000 square-foot, multi-service automotive facility." The site says Vladimir is still at the shop every day, bringing 20+ years of automotive experience, that he and Tess are Landmark Worldwide graduates, that he is "a licensed Maryland State Inspector," and that he "has taken collision estimator classes with ATI (Automotive Training Institute)." No licence number, ASE certification, EPA certification or manufacturer authorisation is published anywhere on the site, and the Affiliations section reads "Coming Soon!" Today the business covers mechanical repairs, body work, auto paint, rental vehicles and used car sales, continuing to specialize in European auto repair while servicing import and domestic vehicles. On rentals, the rentals page says: "Euro-Tech offers car rentals on-site to customers whose vehicles are being repaired at our shop.
