Insurance

• Therapy With Heart therapists are out-of-network providers; we do not bill insurance directly.
• Some therapists can provide a superbill/claim form you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.
• Coverage for couples work and for specific therapist licensure varies by plan; clients are encouraged to verify their own out-of-network benefits.

Reduced-fee options

• Some therapists and interns are available at a reduced rate when needed.
• Ask our Client Care Coordinator about current reduced-fee availability.

Payment methods

• We accept HSA and FSA (health or flex savings account) cards for session payment.
• Other accepted payment methods may vary by therapist; confirm when scheduling.

Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)

• In compliance with the No Surprises Act (Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act), clients who are not using insurance are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate for out-of-network care.
• Therapy With Heart practices transparency around the cost of therapy and collaborates with you on length of treatment and overall care.

What to expect when starting

• You may come in individually, as a couple, or as a family.
• If your partner is hesitant to attend, you are encouraged to come on your own; change in the relationship can begin with one person.
• In the first sessions, your therapist will learn about your concerns, goals, and relationship patterns, and collaborate with you on a plan for therapy.

Online (telehealth) sessions

• Many services are available via online therapy (telehealth) for individuals and couples.
• Ask when scheduling if you are interested in telehealth options.

• Typically a one-year commitment
• Encouraged to complete an EFT Externship
• Must be available one evening and Saturdays to meet with clients
• Supervision and training include:
• BBHE Approved Supervisor
• Weekly individual supervision
• Monthly group supervision
• Monthly staff meetings with clinical trainings
• Guaranteed opportunities to gain:
• Direct client hours
• Relational hours with individuals, couples, and families
• Typical caseload of approximately 10–12 client hours per week

Employee therapist positions

Therapy With Heart offers employee roles for licensed therapists that include:

• EFT- and attachment-oriented practice culture
• Ongoing supervision and consultation:
• 3x per month individual supervision with a BBHE approved supervisor
• Monthly EFT consultation/group supervision

What to expect as a client

• Interns bring the same commitment to:

• Supporting couples, individuals, and families in creating change
• Intern sessions are offered at a reduced rate (typically $80 or less for a 50-minute session).
• Interns work with individuals, couples, and families and can help you address many of the same concerns as fully licensed therapists, with close supervision and support.
