- Dynamic demand-supply matching: Approval thresholds vary based on demand for particular skills. This helps maintain an active pool of candidates ready to work on projects.

Background checks
- Before starting any project, candidates go through comprehensive background screening, including:

Freelancer-to-employee model and policies
SkillSoniq is built around a flexible "Freelancer-turned-Employee" model that lets companies try talent before hiring them full-time.
How the freelancer-to-employee model works
- All talent on SkillSoniq are ultimately looking for full-time jobs and are open to being hired on your payroll.
- As a company, you can:
- Hire employees directly on your payroll from Day 1 through SkillSoniq, or
- Start by hiring freelancers for part-time or full-time project work on SkillSoniq, and then convert the best-performing freelancers to employees on your payroll.
When to convert a freelancer to an employee
- Many companies convert freelancers to employees after around 3 months, but the specific timing depends on factors such as:
- Candidate's performance and cultural fit
- Perceived flight risk
- Your hiring budget and internal policies
- SkillSoniq's technology predicts when it may be a good time to convert a freelancer to an employee, based on trends observed on the platform.
Working with freelancers or employees outside SkillSoniq
- All offers must be made on the SkillSoniq platform, as per the Terms of Service.
- Clients are not allowed to work directly with past, current, or future freelancers they discovered through SkillSoniq outside of the platform unless certain conditions are met.
- If you need to work with a freelancer directly before the standard lockout period expires, you must email sales@skillsoniq.com and obtain written approval. SkillSoniq charges a buyout fee in such cases.
- SkillSoniq may impose penalties (including a fee and restrictions on using the platform in the future) if it discovers that clients and freelancers are working together outside the platform without approval.
For full legal details, refer to the Terms of Service on the SkillSoniq website or contact SkillSoniq directly.
