Pyxl's headquarters has been in Nashville since 2010, and the Charleston studio has operated since 2020. The firm works with clients nationally.

A seven-day engagement with one senior strategist and a working artifact that the client keeps whether or not they hire Pyxl. It includes:

• Eight or nine views on a live URL
• Visibility baseline and schema gap analysis
• Brand voice library
• Walkthrough with the strategist who built it

Project — fixed fee, scoped

A project has one named outcome, one named date and one number agreed in writing before work begins. Change orders apply only to work requested outside the original scope. Projects include a weekly working session, handover documentation and a named target.

Retainer — monthly fee, scoped

Retainers have a six-month minimum and support continuous work across B2B and eCommerce, potentially at more than one service level. They include principal leadership, an Account Director, a quarterly leadership arc and one accountable team.

Additional terms

The quoted work includes strategy, design, engineering, QA and handover documentation. Third-party licenses, including HubSpot, Shopify Plus and Klaviyo, are purchased directly by the client and are not marked up through Pyxl.

Pyxl usually starts work two to three weeks after a scope is signed. Most B2B site builds run 12–20 weeks to launch, while most Shopify migrations run 10–18 weeks.

Each engagement may include:

• A principal involved from discovery through quarterly reviews
• A practice lead for brand, experience, platform or growth
• In-house practitioners who perform the work
• Named specialists when the work requires additional expertise

Human accountability and AI

Pyxl uses AI to accelerate production tasks such as drafting, creating variants, working with schema and structured data, organizing asset libraries, handling catalog data and retrieving information from client corpora. A person leads and approves the work.

The brief, strategy, curation and final sign-off remain human-led. Every AI-assisted deliverable is reviewed by a principal before it ships, and client data is not used to train third-party models.

Procurement and security

Pyxl can staff delivery according to a client's security and data-residency requirements and write those requirements into the scope of work. The firm is not SOC 2 certified. Pyxl publishes its data processing agreement, MSA, IP assignment terms and certificate of insurance.
