About MindsDB

Founded in 2018 at UC Berkeley by Jorge Torres and Adam Carrigan, MindsDB's mission is to make AI accessible and easy to use, supporting open-source development. MindsHub, a product of MindsDB, serves as the platform where AI is democratized with tools that let technical and non-technical users alike leverage AI for various projects.

MindsHub is built on open-source principles, supporting flexibility by allowing users to inspect and adapt the platform's code for their own needs, with its core also available on GitHub. The platform, which grew from MindsDB to MindsHub, offers two main products: Unified Inference and Cowork, both of which streamline the process of managing models and workflows.

Prices

MindsHub operates on a straightforward pricing model without subscriptions. Customers can start with MindsHub Air which provides a free allowance of 5 million tokens per month and does not require a credit card. Usage beyond this allowance is billed using a rate card that defines costs per model, with a 5% platform fee added to the total. Users can also bring their own provider API keys, allowing them to pay providers directly without any platform fees.

A unique offering is the "Foundry" program, which allows select teams to double their first three months of inference-credit purchases, with conditions applied. Additionally, volume customers can negotiate custom platform fees and discounts.

All charges are transparent and can be monitored within the user's account, with detailed information available for each model such as input, output, and cache fees.
