Monthly bookkeeping

• Description: Monthly bookkeeping services tailored to each business, ranging from simple bookkeeping and basic reports to managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Pricing: Monthly flat rate starting at $200/month.

Business advising

• Description: Business advising is offered as an add‑on to regular bookkeeping services. Magnolia Management works with you to identify your business's needs and goals and to develop a financial plan to meet those goals. This service includes a monthly or quarterly meeting.
• Pricing: $100/hour, billed hourly.

Tax planning

• Description: Tax planning is offered as an add‑on to regular bookkeeping services. It includes ongoing monthly tax considerations as well as a more in‑depth quarterly planner.

Tax preparation

• Description: Tax preparation services are provided to the companies, individuals and organizations that Magnolia Management already works with.
• Pricing: Starting at $500 for individual returns and $1,500 for corporate returns.

New client availability

• Magnolia Management is not currently accepting new clients.
• If you would like to be added to the waiting list, you are asked to send a message and share a bit about your business and your needs.

Social justice commitments

Magnolia Management is committed to being an anti‑racist business and to supporting LGBTQ+ rights. The firm affirms that trans women are women.

The team aims to resist and interrupt systems of oppression that marginalize individuals and communities based on their social identities. They are committed to using their expertise and privilege to help others, and to continuing to learn and hold themselves accountable with no fixed endpoint.

Donation of gross profits

• Beginning in June 2020, Magnolia Management committed to contributing 5% of gross profits each month to organizations that:
• Work to dismantle racism, homophobia and transphobia
• Work to ease food insecurities
• They also provide direct cash support to people in need.
• The firm reports having donated over $85,000 to date through this program.

Donated services

• Magnolia Management provides services free of charge to businesses and organizations owned by members of the BIPOC community for a period of at least one year.
• The firm reports having donated over $87,000 worth of services since June 2020.
• Businesses interested in these donated services are asked on the website to email Magnolia Management. If they cannot be taken on immediately, they can be added to a waiting list.

For returning clients, an extension has been submitted on your behalf. When you are ready to be added to the 2025 tax preparation queue, follow the steps below.

Steps to be added to the 2025 tax prep queue

1. Complete the 2025 Tax Questionnaire and Engagement Letter.
2. Upload all tax documents to the client portal.

• If you do not yet have a portal account, email hello@magnoliamgmt.com to be set up.

3. Complete any applicable organizers if Magnolia Management does *not* prepare bookkeeping for that source of income:

• Self‑employment income and expenses
• Rental income and expenses
• Farm income and expenses

Once all documents have been received, you will be added to the tax preparation queue. Clients are added based on the date that complete information is received.

Magnolia Management will communicate directly with you for questions, clarifications, or missing items. When returns are complete, they will email you a summary and a link to schedule a meeting to review your returns.

New tax clients for 2025

This 2025 tax preparation process is for returning clients only. Magnolia Management is not accepting new tax clients for this season.

Client portal

• Returning tax clients are asked to upload their tax documents to the client portal.
• If you do not have portal access, you are instructed on the website to email hello@magnoliamgmt.com so an account can be created.
