State and natural resource projects

• Georgia Department of Natural Resources Shooting Complex Master Planning – Various sites throughout Georgia. BLP has served as lead consultant for shooting sports master plans and studies, including statewide GIS mapping of public and private shooting ranges, market analysis using demographic data and participation coefficients, and graphics to support funding and partnership efforts.

• Little Ocmulgee State Park Cabins – Helena, Georgia. Civil and landscape architectural services for replacing cabins, including demolition, new code-compliant cabins with enhanced utilities, and realignment and repaving of the cabin loop.

• Fort Yargo State Park Day Use and Beach Improvements – Winder, Georgia. Master planning, design and permitting for a fully accessible expanded beach, picnic pavilions, concessions and retail, splash pad, boathouse, mini golf and other amenities.

• Vogel Campground – Blairsville, Georgia. Campground master plan and construction documents to renovate approximately 90 RV sites while protecting an eastern hemlock forest, adding modern amenities and maintaining campground operations during phased construction.

• Wormsloe Historic Site Visitor Center – Isle of Hope, Georgia. Lead site designer for a new visitor center and related site improvements, including a master plan and multi-phase construction documents to enhance access and interpretation of historic and natural features.

Education projects

• Piedmont Newton Hospital Expansion and Renovation – Covington, Georgia. Site design services supporting a 5,000 square-foot expansion and 12,000 square-foot renovation of the existing emergency department.

• Grace Baptist Academy – Chattanooga, Tennessee. Site and sportsfield design for a full campus rebuild (elementary, upper school, church, daycare and athletic facilities) after tornado damage, including synthetic turf baseball, softball and multi-use fields and multiple outdoor learning spaces.

• Holy Innocents' Episcopal School – Upper School Humanities Building and Lower School Building – Atlanta, Georgia. Long-term campus site design services including new academic buildings, a campus quad and associated greenspace.

• Paideia School Junior High – Druid Hills Historic District, Georgia. Master planning, site design and construction administration for a new junior high campus that respects the historic residential context and incorporates high-performance stormwater solutions.

• University of Georgia – Black-Diallo-Miller Hall – Athens, Georgia. Site design services for a first-year residence hall focused on efficient use of space, student community, and integration with the campus.

• Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy – Barrow County, Georgia. Master planning and site design for a new high school and future phases on a multi-facility site.

• Legacy Park Track and Field Master Plan – Decatur, Georgia. Design of a joint-use 400-meter track and field facility and field house, with ADA-compliant access and separation from an improved cross-country trail.
