Scope of Work - Deployed the Citrix Cloud management control plane in Azure. - Engineered hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises VMware infrastructure. - Integrated AppSense Personalization for user state isolation and profile continuity on stateless Azure hosts. - Contributed to the hybrid hypervisor topology connecting Azure cloud assets with on-premises VMware virtualization. - Managed the technical migration program across the eight-month transition. Technology The engagement used Microsoft Azure, Citrix Cloud, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, AppSense Personalization, VMware, hybrid cloud, and physical-to-cloud migration practices. Results - The legacy physical Citrix estate was fully decommissioned and relocated to Azure. - The program completed with zero regulatory breach and zero operational disruption to live banking operations. - AppSense delivered user profiles to stateless Azure session hosts with zero latency. Work Delivered - Assessed infrastructure readiness, including scale thresholds, processing limits, and hardware capacity against the projected user footprint. - Provisioned Virtual Delivery Agents using Citrix Machine Creation Services automation. - Configured and deployed HP ThinPro thin-client endpoints for incoming remote users. - Managed structured user acceptance testing and pilot rollout tracks. - Tuned compute resource pools after deployment to maintain session quality. Technology The engagement used Citrix CVAD, Virtual Delivery Agent, Machine Creation Services, HP ThinPro, Citrix Workspace, VDI performance tuning, and enterprise endpoint management. Results - The VDA fleet was built through MCS without manual provisioning or configuration drift. - The UAT and pilot expansion was completed without disrupting existing users. - HP ThinPro endpoint devices were configured and deployed for the remote workforce. Machine Creation Services creates and manages VDA pools from a master image using storage snapshot technology. In this engagement, it enabled consistent VDA deployment and scalable catalog expansion.
