"has been an auto service shop for over 35 years" and that "In 1998 the company was purchased by Mr. Worku Moges." It says Worku worked his way up until he was able to acquire Great Brakes and has been working continuously ever since, sometimes supervising and other times acting as the master technician. The page adds "no job is too big or too small" and "An honest day's work for an honest day's pay," and mentions a pledge to follow a Code of Ethics. The services page reprints a City Pages passage calling Worku Moges "a one-of-a-kind mechanic" who has been "described as friendly, affordable, trustworthy, honest, efficient, ethical, helpful, and communicative." The about page sets out the steps of a visit: bring the car in and look for the Great Brakes Auto Repair sign; describe the problem; the shop drives the car into the shop, lifts it and locates the problem; recommends a solution and gives an estimate for repair time and cost; takes the vehicle apart, fits the parts, bills the customer. The site does not publish ASE certifications, manufacturer authorisations, licence or registration numbers, insurance details, warranty or guarantee terms, staff headcount, or review counts and star ratings. Nothing of that kind should be assumed. Contact the shop at 612-331-3635 to ask about credentials or about any specific repair.
