• EZ Bins rents strong, reusable plastic moving bins for home and office moves.
• Bins arrive preassembled and crush-resistant, so you do not have to build or tape cardboard boxes.

Standard process

1. EZ Bins delivers the bins to your home or office within the service area.
2. You pack and move using the bins.
3. EZ Bins picks the empty bins back up at the end of your rental.

• Orders are typically delivered within 24–48 hours. Exact delivery and pickup times depend on schedule and availability.
• Standard online packages allow you to keep bins for 2–4 weeks. Longer rentals may be available on request.

What is included with a typical package

• A set number of EZ Bins based on the size of your home or office.
• At least one rolling dolly to help move stacked bins (for most packages).
• Free delivery and pickup within the standard service area for ground-floor and elevator buildings (see the Delivery, pickup and rental policies document for details).
• All bins are sanitized after each use before being sent to a new customer.

Bin sizes and capacity

Standard EZ Bin

• Outside dimensions: 27″ L × 17″ W × 12″ H.
• Designed to hold books, dishes, clothes and general household or office items.

Examples of what fits in a single bin:

• Around 15 sweaters and 5 winter jackets, or
• About 12–15 pairs of shoes, or
• Up to 48 books, or
• About 15 pairs of shorts and 30–40 t-shirts, or
• Approximately 17,000 small candies such as Tootsie Rolls.

Wardrobe bin

• Dimensions: approximately 24.5″ L × 20.6″ W × 48″ H.
• Includes a hanging rod so clothes can stay on hangers during the move.
• Wardrobe bins can be added to a package as an optional extra.

• Standard orders include one free delivery and one free pickup of your bins within the normal service area.
• Delivery and pickup are typically scheduled within 24–48 hours, depending on availability.
• There is no extra fee for delivery or pickup if you live on the ground floor or in an elevator building within the service area.
• If you live in a walk-up apartment and would like bins delivered or picked up from your unit, a $29.99 fee applies.
• If you need more than one delivery or pickup for the same order, an additional $29.99 fee applies for each extra delivery or pickup. Extra trips are subject to availability.

Rental duration

• Standard online packages allow you to keep the bins for 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
• If you need the bins for longer than 4 weeks, reduced rates for long-term rentals may be available; contact EZ Bins to discuss options.
• If you realize during your move that you need more time, call or email to ask about extending your rental.

Short-notice orders

• Orders placed with less than 24 hours' notice do not automatically incur an extra fee.
• If there is time in the schedule and bins are available, EZ Bins will accommodate short-notice orders at the normal rates. Availability is not guaranteed.

Split orders

• In some cases you may be able to split one order with a friend (for example, sharing a set of bins).
• If EZ Bins is able to accommodate a split order, a $25 fee applies.
• Split orders depend on scheduling and availability; contact EZ Bins to discuss.

• Packing materials (bubble wrap, packing paper, wardrobe boxes, covers, etc.) are not included in basic bin packages but can be added for an extra fee.
• Bins are secured with provided zip ties; you do not need to buy tape for the bins themselves.

Why plastic bins instead of cardboard boxes?

• Reusing durable plastic bins reduces waste more effectively than relying on single-use cardboard boxes, tape, bubble wrap and packing peanuts.
• Cardboard with heavy glue or tape often cannot be recycled and may go straight to landfill.
• Plastic bins are strong, water-resistant and reusable many times.
• Bedbugs can hide in and travel on cardboard boxes, especially boxes picked up from the street; the reusable bins avoid this risk.

How many bins should I order?

• EZ Bins offers pre-set packages based on the number of bedrooms and an "average" amount of belongings.
• You can add extra bins to your package during checkout if you have more items than average.
• If you are unsure, it is often safer to add a couple of extra bins. You can also contact EZ Bins for guidance.

Can I use my own movers or split an order?

• You can absolutely rent bins even if you are using your own moving company.
• If movers pack for you, you can provide bins and ask them to adjust their fee to remove the cost of cardboard boxes and the time spent assembling them.
• You can also pack the bins yourself and hire movers only for loading, transport and unloading.
• In some cases you may be able to split an order with a friend; a $25 fee applies if EZ Bins can accommodate the split.

Do I need tape? Are packing materials included?

• You do not need tape for the plastic bins; they close securely and EZ Bins provides zip ties to lock them.
• Packing materials such as bubble wrap and packing paper are not included in standard packages but can be added to your order for an extra cost.

What forms of payment do you accept?

• EZ Bins accepts all major credit cards, including American Express.

Returns and cancellations

• Cancellation policy: EZ Bins offers a full refund on any order canceled with at least 24 hours' notice.
• If an order is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, a $25 cancellation fee is charged.
