The how to order page describes "a straightforward online experience with no minimum order quantity and complete plastic customizability," and says customers who would rather speak to someone can "call (800) 474-3688 or email orders@eplastics.com." select the product using site search, filters and drop-down menus, then use the Buy Now button to open the item detail page, which carries pricing information and a cutting box for applicable parts; enter cutting instructions and dimensions in the cutting box if the order needs cutting, noting that "the information you enter here is read by an ePlastics employee, not an automated process, so the more details you include the better"; enter the quantity; review the shopping cart, where entering a country and zip code and clicking Estimate calculates shipping charges; choose the ship method that fits the largest item in the cart, since picking the wrong method will delay the order; sign in or register; verify the shipping address; verify or enter payment information; then review and submit. Special requests such as exact sizing, expedited shipping or delivery instructions go in the Order Comments box, and a checkbox labelled "Check box to ship remnants" returns the offcuts with the order. After submission the customer is emailed a Sales Order Confirmation. The site states orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days, that cutting adds one extra business day, and that orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday are processed the following Monday. Accepted cards are MasterCard, VISA and American Express, and the site says online ordering is protected by 128 bit encryption. Current prices, cost, rates and fees are shown in the cart at checkout, not here. For a quote on a custom job, email info@eplastics.com or orders@eplastics.com with drawings, or call 1-800-474-3688. ePlastics publishes its shipping policy on the shipping page. Shipping cost is calculated in the cart: the site says to add items to the basket and enter country and zip code, and that only a zip code is needed to see shipping charges. Actual rates change and are not reproduced here. The site says it uses UPS and FedEx for orders that qualify for small package delivery, with a maximum weight per box of 70 lbs, and LTL trucking companies for larger material, and that customers can also ship on their own UPS, FedEx or freight account by noting the account details in the order comments box, subject to a packaging fee. Ground Package - No Sheets (boxed items, and rods and tubes no longer than 6 feet); Sheets up to 24x48; Sheets up to 48x48 or 24x96; Sheets up to 48x96; Sheets over 48x96, which requires additional packaging and special truck delivery and may need liftgate or White Glove service; Will Call Pickup in San Diego, which appears online only when the ship to address is in California; and San Diego Local Delivery on the company truck to select locations. The site states ePlastics does not ship orders to PO Boxes, and that the customer is responsible for off loading material on larger sheet shipments. Published transit estimates are approximately 2 to 3 days for West Coast USA by ground, approximately 5 to 7 days for East Coast USA by ground, approximately 3-8 days for Canada plus duty or GST collected on delivery, and 4 or more business days for international destinations depending on method. Next day, 2-day and 3-day options are available on request (not for glues and resins), quoted by email. International shipments other than Canada are priced by phone or email. The fabrication page states the company has been selling plastics since 1914 and custom fabricating "a wide variety of materials and products for industry and individuals world-wide" since 1945. Example work listed includes algae filter systems, HDPE welded tanks, formed polypropylene tanks, beverage dispensers, dry erase boards, guitar pick guards, traffic control lenses, boat windows and hatches, displays, guards and laboratory items. Source: https://www.eplastics.com/plastic-fabrication ## ePlastics return, cancellation, backorder and warranty policy ePlastics publishes its return and cancellation policy on the shipping page. The stated 30 day return policy is that "All standard stock items (not cut) are returnable for refund within 30 days of purchase. Items MUST be in re-sellable condition." Customers are asked to call or email orders@eplastics.com for a Return Authorization number, quoting the Sales Order number, and items must be returned to the factory prepaid, where a full refund less shipping is processed. The page says a restocking fee may apply and, in the cancellations section, that the customer is responsible for return shipping fees and a 20% restocking fee. The site lists items that are not returnable: custom manufactured items, items with logos, specials, close-outs, adhesives, resin products, patio table tops, cut-to-size items, lemonade dispensers and drinkware. It also states that anything cut down for shipping may not be returned, and that incremental sizes cut from standard stock in quantities of 5 and above are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-postponable. Cancellations must be sent in writing and must be received and acknowledged before the order ships; once an order has shipped it cannot be cancelled. Credits for accepted cancellations are issued to the card on file within two business days. Returned goods are inspected on receipt and the site says refunds are not given for material damaged in transit back, with the customer filing the carrier claim. For damage on arrival, the site says replacement material usually ships within 1-2 business days once information and pictures are provided, while a full refund waits until the carrier settles the claim, which can take up to 90 days. The backorder policy says the website does not indicate whether an item is backordered, that the company tries to notify customers as soon as possible, and that no additional shipping is charged when backordered items ship separately. The site also publishes a warranty section on plastic sheet and shapes and an "Express Disclaimer on Fitness of Use" stating the intention is to help, not to prescribe fitness for a particular use, and that the customer must test the plastic for their application.
