## About Downing Street Garage

Downing Street Garage in Denver has been owned by Ben Burns since 2013, when he purchased the shop. The site describes Burns as a third-generation automotive technician who worked at his father's shop before moving to Colorado in 2012 to work as a technician in Breckenridge, then acquiring Downing Street Garage in 2013. Since then, Burns has expanded into what the site calls the Burns Auto Group family, acquiring Pearl Street Garage and Leo's Automotive (2016), Autosport Werks in Boulder (2019), Randy's Automotive Service in Broomfield (2023), and The German Car Shoppe (December 2024). The company history page states these acquisitions were built around a focus on technician career development and customer transparency, education, and trust. The site does not publish any ASE certification information for Downing Street Garage's technicians, nor does it state a specific technician headcount at this location. It also does not mention Colorado state vehicle emissions or inspection program participation for this shop. Prospective customers can find the shop's address, phone number, and hours on the same company history page.
