The policy is intended to protect the integrity and objectivity of research activities by identifying, managing, reducing, or eliminating financial conflicts of interest. The policy primarily addresses regulatory requirements for U.S. Public Health Service-sponsored research and also provides a framework for other Clevyr research activities. A financial conflict of interest exists when a significant financial interest could directly and significantly affect the design, conduct, or reporting of research. Investigators must disclose significant financial interests related to their project responsibilities. For PHS-funded research, Investigators must complete a Significant Financial Interest Disclosure form before performing research work and update disclosures at least annually or within 30 days of discovering or acquiring a new significant financial interest. Clevyr's Designated Official is responsible for overseeing the financial conflict of interest process, reviewing disclosures, managing potential conflicts, maintaining records, ensuring required certifications, and completing required reporting. If a conflict exists, Clevyr may implement a management plan involving disclosure, independent monitoring, research-plan modification, staff disqualification, reduction or divestiture of an interest, or severance of conflicting relationships. Clevyr protects disclosure confidentiality to the extent possible. Disclosures are generally limited to staff with a need to know unless disclosure is required by contractual, legal, or regulatory obligations. Investigators receive training on objectivity in research and disclosure obligations. Training is required annually and when an Investigator is new to Clevyr, the policy changes in a relevant way, or Clevyr identifies noncompliance. Questions about conflicts of interest may be sent to fcoi@clevyr.com. Source: https://clevyr.com ## Privacy and Data Rights Clevyr's Privacy Policy was last updated March 25, 2026.
