• Each post uses a top‑grade cedar member mounted on a steel pipe.
• The cedar portion is cut to a 4" x 4" dimension for a traditional fence‑post appearance.
• A 1 5/8" schedule 40 galvanized pipe is inserted into the cedar post.
• The cedar post and pipe are securely connected using a heavy‑duty carriage bolt.
• The steel pipe is set into concrete, with the pipe extending 24" into the concrete footing.
• The cedar post itself sits above ground, supported by the steel pipe.

Benefits

• Combines the natural look and texture of cedar with the strength of galvanized steel.
• Keeps the wood post above ground level to reduce deterioration from moisture, insects and rot.
• Provides excellent stability for the fence line while still allowing for easier replacement of individual posts in the event of accidental damage.

Availability

• Post On Pipe is manufactured by All City Fence and used in their fence installations.
• Customers interested in this system should ask for Post On Pipe when requesting a quote or speaking with a representative.

Ask anyway — the agent will say plainly that it is not published rather than guess.
